Heading to Chicago on Monday for work and multiple birthdays. Saw this at ffffound and thought it was a cool map of the neighborhoods. I'll be back in mid April, hopefully the snow will have stopped by then and we can get back to shooting outside and hitting up Habana Outpost in Fort Greene. Did someone say frozen Mojito?

Fun, Natural, Fun.

So I'm finally free to work on the images from Fashion Week and I ran across these little nuggets from backstage at Trovata. Now bear in mind, while this is all happening I'm just snapping away, hoping to get images where the models are in focus and in frame, but really not knowing what I'll get. That is until I went through them today. I like shows where people seem to be genuinely enjoying themselves. None of these actions were prompted by me, these were all unprovoked.

Nothing To Do With Photography

So you were wondering how we got in this mess? People talk about predatory lending, deregulation, investment banks paying off politicians to loosen restrictions on margin requirements, the repeal of Glass-Steagall, sub-prime mortgages with balloon interest payments etc etc. Well, we're not even close to getting out of it. According to this graph, the avg home price, adjusted for inflation, needs to come down about another 50%. In the mean time, rent. (graph c/o lesjones.com)

Charo Sneak Peak
