On The List
Anyone who knows me knows I don't do lists. If a place has a list to get in you probably won't find me there. There are exceptions, Fashion Week, Christmas parties, overall special occasions where invitations are required. There is one more exception, and that would be being apart of the entry "On The List" at Fashion Does It Better. Check it out here!

Polyvore
Polyvore is a cool site for anyone who enjoys collage. (And who doesn't enjoy a good collage). It allows you to cut and paste images with ease from a huge selection of sample images. Someone posted some of my images and I have been seeing them pop up in some pretty cool collage art as seen above.

A Real Tool
In my never ending quest to find out how people stumble upon my journal I discovered a real treat today. Turns out there is a line of tool's that share my last name. Who knows, I might be the heir to a tool fortune? But if not, I will always know that if I overhear someone talking about the "Rothenberger Pipe Expander", or something called the "Rothenberger Sweatbox" (I kid you not), I'll know the conversation is about power tools, or at least I'll hope it is. And if you don't believe me, (and how could I make something like that up) go here, or here. Here is my favorite quote from their site "When you choose Rothenberger tools, you may spend a little more, but the value is undeniable." I might very well adopt that one as my own.

6:45:37 pm
That would be the exact time the sun, streamed light past the Empire State Buliding, bounced off the new "luxury" apartment building, thru my window, past the potted plants, over the kitchen sink, and right against the wall at the base of the stairs that lead up to my room. My shadow is actually in the shot as well (that's my shoulder on the bottom right). Bounced light off of windows is like my new favorite thing. It's only there for a few moments, but in that time you can create something quite special.

FDR
Shooting under the FDR can present it's challenges. First, theres the traffic, it's everywhere, on ramps, off ramps not to mention the parking lot located right behind me with crazy parking attendants zooming in and out. Then theres the helipad, yep, helicopters taking off and landing right behind us, makes it hard to tell people to tilt their head etc. However, I love the location and it's right next to my apt so I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for traffic both on the ground and in the sky. Above is Karolina below afore mentioned FDR.
Calling Me Home
Nothing like a 5'10" redhead to perk up your spirits on a stormy, gloomy Saturday in the big apple. Alison was so much fun to work with! She flew in from Chicago to shoot with us and very well could have been sent from the Chicago Board of Tourism to try and convince me to come back home. That girl loves that city and how could you not? Oh, and did I mention she graduated high school at 16? Smart and has good taste! Nice.
